تماس كهربائي يتسبب في حريق بسكن الطالبات بوجدة ويدفع الطلاب للاحتجاج
شهد الحي الجامعي بوجدة، في الساعات المتأخرة من ليلة الأحد إلى الاثنين، اندلاع حريق داخل جناح مخصص لسكن الطالبات في إحدى ملحقاته، إثر تماس كهربائي أدى إلى تطاير شرارات من العداد الخارجي.
الحادث خلف حالة من الهلع بين الطالبات، إلا أن التدخل السريع للسلطات المختصة مكن من السيطرة على الحريق دون تسجيل خسائر بشرية، رغم الأضرار المادية التي لحقت بالمبنى.
الحادثة أعادت إلى الأذهان مأساة سابقة شهدها الحي الجامعي في 12 شتنبر 2022، حين أسفر حريق مماثل عن وقوع وفيات وإصابات في جناح الذكور.
وعلى إثر الحريق الأخير، خرج الطلاب في مسيرة احتجاجية انطلقت من الحي الجامعي باتجاه مقر ولاية جهة الشرق، مطالبين بتحسين أوضاعهم المعيشية وتأمين مرافق السكن، لا سيما في ظل استمرار انقطاع الماء الصالح للشرب.
المسيرة توقفت عند مفترق طرق بشارع محمد السادس، بعد أن أغلقت قوات الأمن الطريق في محاولة لاحتواء الاحتجاجات، ما زاد من توتر الأوضاع بين الطلاب والقوات العمومية.
يذكر أن الحي الجامعي بوجدة كان قد أثار انتقادات خلال مهمة استطلاعية برلمانية سابقة، حيث أقر وزير التعليم العالي، عز الدين ميداوي، في دجنبر الماضي، بضرورة إجراء إصلاحات عاجلة في عدد من الأحياء الجامعية لضمان سلامة الطلاب ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث.
