أعلنت شركة (غوغل) عن استعدادها لإطلاق ميزة الاتصال عبر الأقمار الصناعية في هواتف “بكسل” خلال وقت قريب.
ووفقا للشركة فإن خيار الاتصال عبر الأقمار الصناعية “Emergency SOS” ستوفر في قسم إعدادات السلامة والطوارئ “Safety & Emergency”.
وأضافت أن هواتف “غوغل بكسل” ستتيح إرسال رسائل إلى خدمات الطوارئ ومشاركة الموقع الجغرافي عندما لا يتمكن المستخدمون من الاتصال بشبكات الهاتف المحمول أو “واي فاي”، وسيشارك المستخدمون مواقعهم عبر خرائط -غوغل) عندما لا تتوفر الإشارات التقليدية، كما قد تتيح الشركة أيضا القدرة على تقديم تفاصيل إضافية حول حالة الطوارئ.
وقالت الشركة : “لكي تعمل تلك الخدمة سيتعين على المستخدمين إدخال بعض البيانات الشخصية مثل الاسم ورقم الهاتف من حساب غوغل الخاص، بالإضافة إلى ما يصل إلى ثلاث جهات اتصال للطوارئ، وفي حالات الطوارئ وانقطاع الاتصال بالشبكات التقليدية، سترسل بعض البيانات مثل موقع المستخدم وتفاصيل الجهاز والتفاصيل المتعلقة بحالة الطوارئ مع جهات الطوارئ ومقدمي خدمات الأقمار الصناعية”.
ولم تكشف (غوغل) حتى الآن عن موعد الإطلاق النهائي لميزة الاتصال عبر الأقمار الصناعية أو الدول التي ستتوفر فيها، لكن صرحت أنها ستبدأ عملية الإطلاق خلال وقت قريب.
يشار إلى أن “آبل” كانت أول شركة تقدم ميزة الاتصال عبر الأقمار الصناعية في حالات الطوارئ مع هواتف “آيفون 14 ” و”آيفون 15 “، علما بأنها متاحة فقط في عدد محدود من الدول.
