أسفرت إجراءات المراقبة الحدودية المشتركة التي باشرتها مصالح الأمن الوطني بتنسيق مع عناصر الجمارك بميناء طنجة المتوسط، عن إحباط محاولة تهريب 730 كيلوغراما من مخدر الشيرا على متن شاحنة للنقل الدولي للبضائع تحمل لوحات ترقيم مسجلة بالمغرب.
وقد مكنت هذه العملية الأمنية من حجز كميات المخدرات المهربة مخبأة بعناية داخل تجاويف أعدت خصيصا ضمن حوامل البضائع على متن الشاحنة، كما أسفرت إجراءات البحث عن توقيف سائقها المغربي الجنسية.
وقد تم إخضاع المشتبه فيه للبحث القضائي الذي يجري تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، وذلك للكشف عن جميع المتورطين في هذه القضية، وكذا تحديد باقي الامتدادات المفترضة وطنيا ودوليا لهذا النشاط الإجرامي.
وتندرج هذه القضية في سياق العمليات الأمنية المكثفة والمتواصلة التي تباشرها مختلف المصالح الأمنية، بهدف مكافحة التهريب الدولي للمخدرات والمؤثرات العقلية.
