كشف تقرير صادر عن مجلس المنافسة أن سوق إنتاج الأعلاف المركبة في المغرب يهيمن عليه تركيز عال، حيث تسيطر ثماني شركات على حوالي 75% من السوق.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن أسعار الأعلاف المركبة شهدت ارتفاعا ملحوظا بنسبة 45%، متأثرة بزيادة تكاليف المواد الأولية في الأسواق العالمية وتداعيات الجفاف.
وأوضح المجلس، في تقريره حول وضعية المنافسة في هذا القطاع، أن سوق تصنيع الأعلاف المركبة يضم 48 شركة فاعلة، إلا أن القسم الأكبر من السوق تهيمن عليه عدد محدود من الشركات الكبرى.
وتستحوذ شركتان رئيسيتان على نحو 50% من الحصة السوقية، وهو وضع يعزى إلى إعادة هيكلة السوق على مر السنين، إذ شهدت انسحاب العديد من الشركات منذ تأسيس أولى شركات الأعلاف في الأربعينيات.
وأضاف التقرير أن بعض الشركات لجأت إلى عمليات دمج اقتصادي لتحقيق وفورات في الحجم، مما أسهم في تعزيز هيمنتها.
ومع ذلك، يواجه السوق تحديات مرتبطة بتقلص فرص التنويع والابتكار بسبب هيمنة عدد محدود من الفاعلين، وهو ما يؤثر سلبا على مربي الماشية الذين يشكلون المستهلكين الرئيسيين لهذه الأعلاف.
وأشار التقرير أيضا إلى أن التركيز الكبير في السوق يحد من الخيارات المتاحة أمام المستهلكين ويؤدي إلى فرض أسعار أقل تنافسية.
كما سجل المجلس زيادة كبيرة في أسعار الأعلاف المركبة بين عامي 2018 و2023، موضحا أن هذه الزيادة تعود إلى ارتفاع تكاليف المواد الأولية وضغوط على هوامش الربح.
ورصد التقرير ارتفاعا ملحوظا في أسعار المواد الأولية المستخدمة في تصنيع الأعلاف، بمتوسط زيادة تجاوز 50%.
وأرجع هذا الارتفاع إلى التقلبات في أسعار الحبوب والنباتات الزيتية على المستوى العالمي، والتي تفاقمت بسبب الظروف المناخية المضطربة والتوترات الجيوسياسية.
