تشهد أحياء مدينة طنجة حالة غير مسبوقة من تراكم النفايات، بعد الغياب التام لعمال النظافة التابعين لشركتي “ميكومار” و”أرما” المسؤولتين عن تدبير قطاع النظافة بالمدينة.
هذا الوضع دفع سكان بعض الأحياء الشعبية إلى اللجوء إلى المهاجرين القادمين من دول جنوب الصحراء الكبرى للمساعدة في تنظيف شوارعهم وتلميع صورة الشركتين اللتان يتقاضان مبالغ طائلة من طرف جماعة طنجة مقابل خدمة لا ترقى إلى مستوى الساكنة .
السكان المحليون أكدوا أن تراكم النفايات تسبب في انتشار الروائح الكريهة وزيادة مخاطر صحية وبيئية، مما جعلهم يبحثون عن حلول بديلة.
وقد انخرط العديد من المهاجرين عن استعدادهم للعمل مقابل تعويض بسيط، فيما أظهروا تعاونا ملحوظا مع الساكنة في هذه الأزمة.
في المقابل، تثار كثير من تساؤلات حول أسباب غياب عمال النظافة داخل الأحياء وأدوار الجهات المسؤولة في معالجة الوضع، وسط مطالب متزايدة من المواطنين بضرورة التدخل لإيجاد حل لهذه الأزمة ونحن مقبلين على تنظيم تظاهرات عالمية تساقط سياح أجانب لزيارة المدينة ودروبها.
