اندلع حريق هائل، اليوم الأربعاء، في شاحنة كبيرة على الطريق السيار الرابط بين القنيطرة والرباط، متسببا في تصاعد كثيف للدخان ووقوع سلسلة من الانفجارات في موقع الحادث.
وبحسب معطيات أولية، أودى الحادث بحياة سائق الشاحنة وشخص كان برفقته.
وفي أعقاب الحادث، فتحت السلطات المختصة تحقيقا تحت إشراف النيابة العامة لتحديد أسباب وملابسات الواقعة، وذلك مع انطلاق أول أيام السنة الجديدة.
