حقق ميناء طنجة المتوسط إنجازا بارزا بوصوله إلى المرتبة الثالثة عالميا في مؤشر الأداء العالمي للموانئ (CPPI) لعام 2024، متقدما بمركزين مقارنة بتصنيفه السابق.
وحسب تقرير صادر عن مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية، يجسد هذا الإنجاز التقدم الكبير والجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها المملكة لتعزيز مكانة الميناء كأفضل مركز للحاويات في إفريقيا ومنطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
وقد حصل الميناء على 159.6 نقطة، متفوقا بفارق ملحوظ على عدة موانئ عالمية، من بينها ميناء الخزيرات الإسباني الذي جاء في المرتبة 12 بـ142.3 نقطة، وميناء بورسعيد المصري الذي احتل المرتبة 16 بـ131.2 نقطة.
