يشارك المغرب في التمرين البحري متعدد الأطراف “PHOENIX EXPRESS 24″، الذي تستضيفه تونس، من 4 إلى 15 نونبر الجاري، بالتعاون مع القيادة الأمريكية بإفريقيا.
وحسب بلاغ لوزارة الدفاع الوطني التونسية، يشارك في التمرين البحري متعدد الأطراف حوالي 1100 عسكري وملاحظ يمثلون 12 دولة؛ هي المغرب والجزائر وليبيا وموريتانيا والسنغال وتركيا وإيطاليا ومالطا وبلجيكا وجورجيا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، إضافة إلى تونس البلد المستضيف.
ووفق المصدر ذاته، ستشهد سواحل تونس الشمالية تواجد 9 بواخر عسكرية ستشارك في هذا التمرين، بهدف تدعيم التعاون والتنسيق بين الطواقم البحرية، وتدريب الأفراد، وتعزيز قدراتهم على حسن استعمال المنظومات والمعدات والوسائل البحرية، وتطوير مهاراتهم في التصدي للأعمال غير المشروعة بالبحر، ولكل أشكال التهديدات والجرائم المنظمة؛ كالتهريب والاتجار بالبشر، حفاظا على أمن المتوسط واستقراره.
كما سيتم على هامش هذا التمرين، يضيف البلاغ، تنظيم دروس نظرية وورشات عمل تطبيقية لفائدة المشاركين في عدة مجالات بحرية؛ على غرار زيارة وتفتيش السفن وتقنيات الغوص والاستعلامات البحرية ومقاومة الأسلحة البيولوجية والكيميائية والإسناد الصحي والمساعفة والقوانين المنظمة للأنشطة البحرية.
