قام الملك محمد السادس بتعيين الأعضاء الجدد في اللجنة الوطنية لمراقبة حماية المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي، وذلك استنادا إلى مقترحات الجهات المعنية.
وشمل التعيين عضوين من اقتراح رئيس الحكومة، هما عبد العزيز العمراوي ومجيد لحلو، إلى جانب عضوين اقترحهما رئيس مجلس النواب، وهما زكرياء ولاد وفاطمة السعدي.
كما ضمت التعيينات عضوين آخرين بناءا على اقتراح رئيس مجلس المستشارين، وهما لحسن ماضي ومحمد بودن.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن عمر السغروشني قد تم تعيينه رئيسا لهذه اللجنة من قبل الملك في 17 نوفمبر 2018، حيث تم تجديد الثقة فيه لمواصلة مهامه، وفقا لما ورد في بيان صادر عن اللجنة الوطنية لمراقبة حماية المعطيات ذات الطابع الشخصي.
